January 11, 2022 in Photocopiers

We’ve had a visitor camping out in our demo room for a few weeks now. We can’t let it leave!

We like to make sure things work correctly before we provide them as a solution to our clients.

It’s the new Epson WF-R5690DTWF multi-function inkjet printer. We’re proud to announce we are now an Epson RIPS (Replacement ink pack system) premium partner.

Yes, you read it right. The new inkjet printer from Epson and it’s perfect for the office environment.

Power Consumption of Epson RIPS range compared to a Laser Printer showing 95% lower

I thought Inkjet was just for the home office or a good home printer?

The new Epson RIPS MFP range is designed specifically for the business market. It’s not new technology either, it’s the same technology that you would find in one of the Wide Format CAD Printers that have been precision printing for the large format print industry for years.

What are the main benefits to my business?

  • up to 95% lower energy consumption than comparative laser printers
  • up to 3.5 times faster than laser printers
  • up to 99% less waste produced

The only consumables are the ink packs, feed tyres, and a waste ink container. Compared to laser printers which use, toner, developer, drum units, transfer belts, and rollers.

Less Maintenance equals less downtime on the new Epson Printer

And just in case you didn’t believe the amount of waste this range of machines reduces, we added it up together and took a photo!
